Palm Bay, FL Phase II Goes Live

– March 2023 –

We are excited to share that the Palm Bay, FL went live with the iMS software on March 6, 2023 with Phase II of the project.

Phase I went live in March of 2022, providing the city with the permitting module and a host of integrations. Phase II introduced Planning and Land Development Projects, Code Cases, and Business Tax Receipts, all of which are now available for online application, renewal, and processing.

The Code Compliance module brought the city several new functions. Citizen initiated complaints are now submitted within iMS and can be verified by staff to become code cases as part of the workflow. Code Board liens can be levied, tracked, charged interest, and paid for within the module as well.

Business Tax Receipts also added the ability to register, renew, and connect businesses with their BTR applications.

Planning & Land Development is fully functioning with iMS as well and is now integrated with the Public Works Department for smooth inspections, site work permitting, and Certificate of Completion processing.

The iMS team has truly enjoyed partnering with the City of Palm Bay to serve their community, and look forward to many more years of service.
